Founder & Lead Clinician, Ethereal Flow

Laura Clark brings a rare combination of Eastern and Western medicine to her patients — a depth of training that few practitioners in integrative health can match. As both a licensed Doctor of Pharmacy and a nationally board-certified acupuncturist, she is uniquely positioned to support patients navigating complex, chronic, and difficult-to-treat health conditions with a truly integrative approach.

Laura earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Florida in 2003, completing three years of intensive didactic training followed by a year of clinical rotations across Florida. She immediately pursued advanced clinical training, completing a highly competitive one-year pharmacy practice residency specializing in solid organ transplant at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans in 2005.

Drawn to the depths of Eastern medicine, Laura later completed her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine at Acupuncture and Massage College in Miami, Florida in 2013 — a rigorous three-year, 2,800-hour program including 1,000 hours of supervised clinical practice. She was certified as a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) that same year.

Laura holds additional certifications in acupoint injection therapy — including homeopathic medicines and B12 — and is a certified Reiki practitioner. She has devoted her career to serving patients who need more than one system of medicine can offer, including veterans and those with complex chronic conditions.

At Ethereal Flow, her mission is simple: to meet you where you are, and help you get where you want to go.

Come as you are. Leave transformed.

My Journey to Ethereal Flow

A small waterfall flowing between large rocky boulders in a forest with evergreen trees in the background.

I graduated with my Doctor of Pharmacy degree at 22 and immediately entered one of the most competitive residency programs in the country — solid organ transplant at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans. I was hired to replace my supervisor. The week I was set to step into that role, Hurricane Katrina made landfall.

I spent a month living with a family I had never met in Baton Rouge. When I finally made it back to Florida, the only position I could find was in retail pharmacy. Clinical pharmacy had been my calling. Retail pharmacy nearly broke me.

I began searching for something more — a form of medicine that felt meaningful again. Acupuncture caught my attention, though I approached it with considerable skepticism. I enrolled in school anyway.

My skepticism dissolved in my second year, when I followed a veteran's case from intake to discharge. With consistent acupuncture treatment, he was able to come off oxycodone entirely. He told me he could finally pick up his grandson without pain. That was the moment everything changed.

Ethereal Flow exists because healing is real, and because everyone deserves access to a practitioner who has seen both sides of medicine — and chose this one deliberately.
